If you want to go for a more secure storage option than a zip lock bag, an airtight container is a more secure option for storage orbeez. This container is designed in such a way that it holds your orbeez moist and prevents them from molding. One more thing I would like to mention is that most people have this question in their mind “How to keep orbeez fresh”. I would like to tell them that if they keep their orbeez in this airtight container, their orbeez will stay fresh.

Using or choosing the right airtight container to store the orbeez is very important. Choose an airtight container as large as the quantity of orbeez you want to store. If you take a container that is too big, it will fill with air, which is why your orbeez are at risk of mold.

Vacuum Sealed Bags

I have already told you that Air is a reason for the balls to be moldy which is left inside when stored. If you’re serious about storing orbeez, the vacuum sealed bags method is the best because it doesn’t hold even a cent of air inside.

This method is the best way to store the balls but it is very expensive. Because in this you will need a separate vacuum sealer for store orbeez.

Silica Gel Packets

Silica Gel packets are used to keep things moist. You can use them in an airtight container. Open the container in which you have stored the balls, put these gel packets inside it, and then seal it tightly. This will keep your orbeez moisturized and prevent mold.

If you want to hear my opinion, I would say that this method is not very effective, because we have to replace packets and it’s going to be quite expensive that way.

• You can also protect orbeez from mold by using distilled or demineralized water. The less contaminated minerals in the water, the more likely it will be to avoid becoming moldy.
